The DentalArt team comprises dentists and dental support staff trained to provide you with the best in modern dental care. We aim to achieve this not just with our treatment results but also in how we treat you. Continuing dental education is a very important part of our practice.

Our dental team cares for all our patients’ dental needs and we aim to provide comfortable, high quality treatment. Patients in pain are scheduled for the earliest, appropriate appointment time. A cancellation list enables us to offer times at short notice for immediate problems. Longer treatment appointments are tailored as much as possible to fit in with your life and work commitments.

Dr. Tatiana Pashkova

BDSc Melb 2005, Cert of Implant Dent NYU 2016

Tatiana graduated from Melbourne University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. Upon graduation, Tatiana spent several years working in private practice in Melbourne’s CBD. Subsequently, she pursued her interests in dental implant surgery by completing a two-year full time program at New York University, USA. Since her return to Melbourne in 2017 she has been working as a senior dentist in Melbourne’s inner east.

Tatiana enjoys providing comprehensive dental care to her patients from young to old, focusing on prevention of dental disease. Tatiana is known for her gentle approach in delivering the best of dental care.

She is married with two children and a pet dog, Lola. In her spare time, she likes to experiment with baking treats for her family, and tending to her garden.

Dr. Martin Nguyen

Martin completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Masters of Dentistry at La Trobe University working in various clinics in regional and rural Victoria.

Martin believes in the importance of oral health to general wellbeing. He endeavors to provide comprehensive dental treatment with a strong focus on equipping patients with the necessary skills and confidence to manage and improve their oral health. As a result he enjoys working with patients who may have dental anxiety, children and those with periodontal issues (gum disease). Since graduation, Martin has also placed high importance on continued professional development understanding that the most current scientific evidence is crucial to providing treatment with the basis for long-term success.

Martin is an active member of the broader dental profession currently serving as a committee member of the Australian Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, Martin may be found seasonally descending the slopes at Falls Creek, traversing the Dandenong ranges or more often, enjoying a cup of coffee at one of Melbourne’s cafes.

Dr. Benjamin Ku

Dr Benjamin Ku completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2007 and started his journey at a country seaside town, Victor Harbor under the wonderful mentorship of Dr John Edwards and Pauline Edwards. After getting married, he has been working at a few dental private practices closer to Adelaide City.

He moved to Melbourne at the end of 2019, for his wife to take on the opportunity to specialise as an Oral Medicine specialist at Melbourne University.

Ben is keen on saving teeth wherever possible. He has undertaken many courses throughout his career to further his skills. He has a keen interested in restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges, implant crowns, veneers), root canal treatments and clear aligner orthodontics.

Ben’s dental philosophy is to treat patients like his own family. His approach to dental care is a mix of science and art, and most importantly building trust with his patients.

Outside of work, Ben is a father of 3 kids whom keeps him very busy. He is keen on playing squash games and bicycle riding with his mates or heading down to the beach with his family.

Dr. Vincent Aw

Dr Vincent graduated with a Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University. Following this, Dr Vincent started working in Sydney before returning home to Melbourne.

Vincent believes that dentistry, just like life in general, is an ongoing learning process. For that reason, he is always finding different avenues to continue learning and enhancing his skills so that he can translate that into quality treatment for his patients.

Dr Vincent understands that every individual is different and has their own personal needs. He strives to understand his patients needs and provides his services based on that. In addition, growing up as a child with dental anxiety does help him empathise with patients who might share the same anxiety, and definitely motivates him to help make the patient experience a positive one.

Vincent loves all aspects of dentistry, and is well trained in providing treatments including Preventative and Restorative Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Crown and Bridge work, Root Canal Treatment, and Extractions. His passion for dentistry means that Dr Vincent is often attending courses to improve his skills as a dentist. He has been accepted as a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (FICCDE), and as a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics (IADFE).

Outside of dentistry, Dr Vincent’s main priority will be his family and he tries to spend as much time with them as possible. Dr Vincent loves his food and enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines. On top of that, he also loves basketball and the NBA. In fact, his participation in basketball and the occasional gym sessions are probably the few things that keep him guilt-free from trying more delicious foods.

Dr. Timothy Synnot

Dr Tim Synnot was educated at Melbourne University, graduating in 1987. He commenced his professional career at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. His private practice career began in East Doncaster, then Ringwood and Chadstone before finally settling in Park Orchards. Tim has been practicing from this location for 16 years. He has been chairman of the outer eastern division of the Victorian branch of the Australian Dental Association since 1999.

Tim enjoys family based general practice. In particular, he likes the fields of endodontics (root canal) and restorative dentistry (crowns/bridges/implants).

Tim has been a life long resident of the City of Manningham, growing up in Bulleen. He attended local primary and secondary schools before attending university. Currently residing in Warrandyte with his wife and two sons. He has been involved in local tennis and cricket clubs. He is actively involved with Doncaster Baseball Club. Tim has a passion for water sports. Often on weekends he is fishing or water-skiing with friends and family.

Dr. Anthony Burke

Dr Anthony Burke (Tony) received his Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) from the University of Melbourne in 1984, finishing in the Top 10 of his graduating Year. Tony then went on to gain his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) in 1989. Tony has been looking after dental patients in Ringwood since early 1986, having spent the previous year working at a country practice based in Leongatha and Foster, South Gippsland. As of 2012, he has looked after the dental health of patients in and around Ringwood for 27 years.

As a General Practice Dentist, Tony offers a wide range of family based dental treatment solutions but he is especially interested and involved in the restoration of failing and broken down dentitions. This complex treatment involves detailed treatment planning and many modalities of dental treatment, including tooth removal, restoration of high priority decayed, cracked and/or fractured teeth and the replacement of important missing teeth with solutions that may involve removable dentures, bridges and/or dental implant retained restorations. Several appointments discussing treatment options as scheduled so that you, the patient, fully understand treatment options and treatment procedures – including longevity, timing of treatment, staging of treatment and costs.

On a non dental level – Tony lives locally in Park Orchards and is married with a teenage family that keeps him busy. Having two daughters, he has had a long term involvement with the Park Orchards Netball Club (PONC), having served as Club President for four years.

One of Tony’s passions is his collection of aviation art which he proudly displays on his practice walls. Both his Father and Uncle served with the RAAF during the Second World War and Tony has a great interest in the aviation of this period. He is more than happy to chat about his collection with interested patients.

Since the mid ‘80s, he has been a member of the Australian Skeptics Society and reads widely on science, religion and history. Everyone who gets to know Tony soon realises that he is a keen STAR WARS fan and a fanatical Melbourne STORM foundation member. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families – and is never short of a word.
